11 days Kenya Student Safari

Day 1: Arrival – Nairobi.

Upon arrival you will be met by our representative for a short safari briefing and transfer to your hotel. For overnight stay.

Day 2: Nairobi Excursion.
After breakfast your days begins with a visit to Daphne shed rick an orphanage for baby elephants, later proceed to giraffe centre home to Rothschild giraffe .Lunch is served at one the local restaurants before embarking to the city tour where you will finalize the tour with a visit to the national museums of Kenya and snake park where you will learn more about the Kenya’s history, alternatively visit one of the local universities or collage where you will intermingle with Kenyan students and learn more of the learning in Kenya. As the day breaks return to the hotel where dinner is served.

Day 3: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park.

After breakfast depart for Amboseli National park at the foot of the snow capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, arriving in good time for lunch. Afternoon lunch enjoy an evening game viewing drive. Dinner and overnight at a tented camp.

Day 4: Amboseli National park.

Full day exploring the park where you will be involved in morning and afternoon game drives. Amboseli National park is one of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries in Kenya. It is situated close to Kenya. It is situated close to Kenya- Tanzania border, The Park lies at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa (5,896m) whose snow-capped summit presents a splendid view on clear days. Amboseli National Park is often referred to as “The home of Elephants’ some of the largest Elephant herds are found here. The Game Park also contains vast groups of Zebras, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Buffalos, Hippos and Antelopes. Also to be found in Amboseli are lions, leopards, Cheetahs, Rhinos and many species of plain game. Dinner and overnight at a tented Camp.

Day 5: Amboseli National park– Lake Naivasha (hell’s Gate national park).

After an early breakfast you will drive to Lake Naivasha as you enjoy the beautiful sceneries of the great rift valley. Lunch at the lodge followed by a visit to the adjacent Hells gate national park- this park can be explored on foot or by cycling- bicycles are available for hire at an extra cost. Hells gate national park is characterized by diverse topography and geological scenery. It has historically been an important home for the rare lammergeyer, but it is now thought that the famous pair of birds may not have nested in the park for several years. One is encouraged to hike and cycle in the park. This is a rarity in Kenyan National Parks, and is only made possible due to the lack of large predators such as lions and cheetahs. Dinner and overnight at a tented camp or similar.

Day 6: Lake Naivasha- Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, enjoy a conservation talk at Elsa mere field study centre, the home of Joy and George Adamson. It’s where Adamson’s devoted their lives to wildlife conservation and Elsa mere carries on their work. Many of Joy's paintings adorn the walls of the main house and the small museum displays a range of interesting memorabilia. Where you will also watch a video of Born Free. Later in the afternoon leave for Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in good time for game viewing drive .As the sun goes down return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara.

Soon after breakfast, travel south through the beautiful savannahs and plains of the Rift Valley and reach our base camp site, where we enjoy another evening out bush under the far-reaching African sky. Game is viewed as we proceed to the tented camp for Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8 /9/10: Masai Mara.

Enjoy the3 days in your safaris in Kenya exploring the park in search of the Big 5 with a possibility of seeing the spectacular annual wildebeest migration that takes place from July through to October. Optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 485. Dinner and overnight at the tented camp

Day 11: Masai Mara -Nairobi.

Your last day in exploration of Kenya safaris holiday is ended up with an early game viewing drive, returning to the lodge for breakfast, exit the park and drive to Nairobi to arrive by 1400 hrs where the safari ends.
